The types and properties of drilling mud have a great significance in the well drilling, as well as in pollution process of productive reservoir. Regardless the fact that the classical sources give recommendations on solution of the issue, its topicality still remains. Despite of the fact that the compliance of the chemical composition of drilling mud filtrate with the mineralogical content of produced water is a predominant factor to avoid the pore pollution of active reservoirs, the development of methods for problem solution consdering technological and geological aspects have a practical importance as well. The paper deals with the modelling of pollution process of productive reservoir with the drilling mud considering the range and changing dynamics of charge of instanteneous filtrate invasion. Comparative range evaluations of invasion into productive reservoir of up-to-date drilling mud types are provided.
