The impact of chemical composition of various sorts of raw oil and their blending on such macroscopic parameters as density, viscosity and freezing point have been studied based on laboratory tests. Positive and negative synergisms while blending depending on the composition and ratio of oils have been defined. It is shown that abnormal changes of macroscopic parameters in oil blending is particularly associated with microscopic structural changes of asphaltens, paraffins and resins.
