On necessity of drilling additional boreholes in Ka¬zakhstan oil fields

BogopolskiThe paper considers the possible technologies on the maintenance of reservoir properties of bottomhole zone in productive stratum for field conditions in Kazakhstan (Akingen, South-Eastern Novobogatinskoe, S.Nurjhanov field, Kulsary, etc.). The experience of Kazakhstani oil-gas producing com¬panies in returning idle wells (including abandoned ones) to the operating well stock by the method of kickoff and sidetracking has been studied. The research surveys showed high efficiency of this method and short time of payback, which will allow oil-gas producing companies to return quickly financial resources invested in production and increase investment attraction of the project.
