Specification of mixture viscosity (in the order of discussion)

IsmailovaIn oil production practice, particularly in well exploitation, in¬fluence on bottomhole zone and reservoirs by thermic and other methods, as well as in oil reserves calculation and exploitation of oil and gas fields, viscosity value has a great importance. Moreover, during solution of issues on oil production optimi¬zation, setting optimum operation modes for wells etc., the vis¬cosity also plays a significantant role. As it is well known, viscosity value depends on watercut per¬centage of well product, for specification of which complicated calculations are required. In the context of “Balakhanyneft” OGPD, the paper presents the calculations on the definition of mixture viscosity and the dependence graphs of these parameters developed. Besides, a method for viscosity specification considering the influence of mixture temperature is offered. As a result of carried out surveys, pumps’ valve units losses have been identified and the recommendations on oil production increase given.
