Influence of neotectonic processes on formation of oil-gas-condensate deposits in Azerbaijan

The earthquakes, volcanism, solar activity, luni-solar tides influence the oil and gas deposits formation. Herewith, it is necessary to consider the possible influence of rotational, horizontal and vertical tectonic movements of deposits formation. Based on GPS observation data, the authors suppose that vertical movements within Precaspian-Guba oil-gas bearing region, rotational movements in the area of Kurdamir-Saatly-Mughan upheavals, and horizontal tectonic movements within Kura depression accordingly will play direct role in formation of hydrocarbon deposits.
