Meso-Cenozoic sedimentary sequences of Middle Caspian and evaluation of geological risks
E.B. BaghirovThe paper deals with the basin analysis of Middle Caspian and evaluation of geological risks in mentioned area as well. Based on regional seismic-geological profile, well columns and geological data by cross-border areas, a chronostratigraphic chart has been developed and mega-sequences outlined. Geological risks for all stratigraphic units of Mesozoic and Cenozoic, as well as for each element of hydrocarbon system have been evaluated.
