Calculation of dynamic load influence on the elastic sealants
O.G. MirzayevThe sealants have great importance in longevity and non-stop operation of oil-field equipment. According to their functional area, the sealants are divided into movable and immovable systems. Immovable packers are underwent to the compression and tension strains both throughout the length of axis and in radial direction. The packers used in movable systems take part in back and forth, rotational and spiral motions. The failures in sealing systems lead to great losses. Therefore, the identification of failure reasons in sealing systems are essential. The paper considers the issues of definition of dynamic loads on elastic sealants (in the example of packer) and analytical expressions for the specification of hydrodynamic stress forces affecting these elements obtained.
