Development of effective lubricating compositions based on petroleum oils and cyclic polyol ethers
L.M. YusifovaLubricating compositions have been developed and studied adding 5-20 % cyclic polyol ethers to the oil turbine oils. It was defined that the viscosity index of the composition increases from 64 to 109, flash point – from 190 oC to 230 oC, and the freezing point decreases from -30 oC to -48 oC. After thermal oxidizing of oily compositions, the sediment drops from 0.78 % to 0.40 %, the losses during evaporation decreases from 0.47 % to 0.18 %.
