The paper analyzes the regularity and intensity of waterflooding process in offshore fields (in the context of Guneshli). The development state of X horizon existing in stratigraphic section of the deposit has been studied. The waterflooding process was applied too late; the water capacity and placing of injection wells across the area were not distributed equally. It was revealed that the connection between the water cut and well spacing across the area is quite insignificant. The movability of edge waters is associated with the separate high-permeable formations. The fluctuation of waterflooding process led to the lateral coning.
