The paper presents the results of experimental investigations dedicated to the oil displacement from porous medium via air-and-water mixture. In the other equal conditions, the oil was displaced seperately with air, produced water and the mixture of produced oil and air as well. The experimental results justified the following: the displacement coefficients with the air and produced water comprised 0.47 and 0.50 correspondingly, while with air-and-water mixture application it was equal to 0.62. Therefore, it may be concluded that the application of air-and-water mixture instead of the water enables to recover residual oil reserves from the formation.
