On the genesis of mud volcano waters according to the up-to-date isotope studies data

The paper reviews the isotopic signature of water phase of mud volcanoes. The values of δ18О vary in a wide range – from -0.6 to 17.2 ‰, while δD – from -2 to -32‰ and do not form a significant trend, НСО-3 values fluctuate between 36.6 and -11.7 ‰, correlation values 87Sr/86Sr change from 0.7067 to 0.7083. Based on the isotope-studies data is it supposed that mud volcano waters are associated with several sources (condensation, sedimentation, dehydration of clay minerals).
