The paper gives brief literature review on the specification of maximum load acting on the horsehead. Additionally, it presents a new method of specification of the friction force acting via ""Quantor-4micro"" hardware-software complex, with the dynamometer of which the dynagraph is taken. The maximum load, which is equal to the sum of all forces acting on the horsehead is graphically specified through the upper horizontal straight dynagraph. The friction force called unknown value is involved among them as well. The equation is developed and friction force value specified.
