On the issue of oil reserves calculation of Siazan monocline

The capacity method is prevalently applied for reserves calculation of oil-gas fields in Azerbaijan. Siazan section consists of oil-bearing suits and horizons, in lithological respect is characterized with terrigenic and fractured reservoirs. To mark oil-bearing interlayers in the section is quite hard and in some cases even impossible. Thus, oil reserves in Siazan-Nardaran, Sadan and Amirkhanly areas of Siazan monocline were calculated via the statistic way alongside with capacity methods. The comparison of obtained results justified that in conditions of cracked reservoirs the methods show comparatively better performance.
