The estimation of dynamic loads in multi-phase pipelines
F.B. Ismailova - Azerbaijan State University of Oil and IndustryThe specification of direction and the values of dynamic loads in the pipelines are essential to the assurance of reliability of transportation systems.
With the purpose of the definition of dynamic loads, the paper offers the expression taking into consideration structural changes in multi-phase flows.
Presented calculations by obtained formula based on the critical speed and density changes of separate phases showed that compared to the homogeneous dispersed medium occurring in the mixtures with the plug structure, the dynamic loads are higher.
