Intensification of development of Garbi Absheron field, drilling of multilateral wells and efficiency estimation

The paper presents detailed feasibility on improvement of traditional well drilling technology and development systems in accordance with the development plan of Garbi Absheron field. It is noted that the most optimum option of art-of-the-state technologies and approaches to the field development is the drilling of horizontal and multilateral wells with the purpose of efficient completion of recovered resources and intensification of field development. The drilling and putting on production of such wells are considered cost-effective as well.

Thus, the optimum amount and type of wells in existing and new platforms for ensuring efficient field development are specified.
