Prospects for collaboration and international integration of national petroleum service companies in Azerbaijan in drilling and well operation

The paper reviews the aspects of cooperation and partnership of national oil-gas service companies with foreign oil-gas and petroleum companies, as well as with other economic agents and institutions. The patterns of the participation of local business entities in the projects carried out both in Azerbaijan and abroad are presented.

 The prospects of access of domestic petroleum service companies to the regional and international markets are emphasized, as well as the participation potential of Azerbaijani companies within the regional power union “Caspian project” presented. Finally, the role of the state in the access of local petroleum service companies to the global oil market taking into consideration their existing success in the regional projects is noted.
