Deposition of the disperse phase from the oil system in the horizontal transport pipes
M.R. Manafov Dr. in Tech. Sc. - Institute for Catalysis and Inorganic ChemistryThe process and results of application of well-known empirical models of deposition of asphaltene-resin-paraffin deposits (ARPD) from the oil system on the inner surface of horizontal pipes are considered. Within the framework of the chosen empirical model, a correspondence was obtained between the calculated data and the experimental results. The development of simple models by including kinetic relations in the system of equations will further allow describing the processes of coagulation and dissociation of dispersed particles. Simple models of deposition of ARPD in horizontal pipes also make it possible to assess the condition of transport pipes for pumping oil. The results can be used to improve the operation of pipeline transport.
