On conditions of geodynamic tension and oil-gas bearing content of Garbi Absheron structure based on advanced models

In the context of Garbi Absheron structure the significance of increase of accuracy for searching and exploration of oil-gas fields with the purpose of avoiding technological complications in the drilling considering conditions of geodynamic tension, as well as the necessity of the implementation of perfect methods of modeling based on the geophysical and seismological data in the specification of the site of drilled wells and operation of productive layer has been defined for the first time.

Considering the results of facies analysis, as well as the petrophysical and geophysical logging data of the wells drilled in various areas of Garbi Absheron field, 2D and 3d models characterizing the lithology of the layers, have been developed. The maps showing petrophysical scale of horizon layers, as well as the changes of porosity, permeability, water and oil saturation and clay content of the layers in geological sections have been developed using “Petrel” software. Favorable permeable horizon in the central part of the structure and the highest oil saturation degree in the central area of 3D models have been revealed during the research of porosity, water and oil saturation and clay content.
