Control necessity of chlorine organic compounds during oil transportation

Preparing oil for transportation of chlorine containing organic and inorganic compounds is one of the important tasks. Despite the control of chlorinated compounds during transportation, the occurrence of corrosion caused by chlorides in the equipment in fractions at a boiling point of 204 оС in oil processing remains relevant.

The effect of corrosion caused by organochlorine compounds in Azerbaijani oils was investigated by laboratory studies. The prepared ND-12 and Gossipol reagents were tested in different proportions in the oil, and the composition of the product in an optimal ratio of 3:1 showed a more effective action on chlorinated compounds.
