Thermal and mineral water of Kur-Araz hydrogeotermic region

The paper deals with the distribution area of the thermal and mineral water of Kur-Araz hydrogeotermic region. The whole collected actual data on the studied Goranboy, Terter, Barda, Aghjabedi, Beilagan, Imishli, Kurdamir, Mingachevir, Naftalan, Delimammadli, Bahramtepe and Gazanbulag areas has been analyzed. All hydrogeotermic parameters of various regions have been studied both locally and regionally as well. The results of the researches enable to conclude that the main trap for the accumulation and formation of the thermal and mineral water is the Cretaceous rock complex. Considering the high temperature, the recovery rate and other major aspects, Kur-Araz hydrogeotermic region may be considered prospective area for further research surveys.
