Main direction of engineering survey development in oil and gas design institute
G.S.BabaevaIn connection of rich oil and gas fields discover Y on Caspian shelf necessity of offshore hydraulic structures creation is appeared. For these structures design it was necessary to measure sea depths and to examine its relief and engineering- geological conditions of given territory. That is why 60 years ago Department of engineering surveys was created in the institute Complex of hydrographical and engineering geological and topogeodetik works onshore and offshore were carried out by department. During these years Department of engineering surveys improved quality of engineering surveys using more perfect equipment and devices. . Beginning from 1980 Department carried out some works on foreign countries engineering surveys (Islam Iran Republic, Vietnam Socialist Republic). At the and 1990 department started work on engineering surveys for designing Sangachal terminal in Karadag region Baku- Novorossiysk and Baku-Supsa pipelines on Jeyms Mur., Flor Daniel, Gabek west firms. Owing to engineering surveys construction of hydraulic structures was successfully arrived out and is carried out in all Caspian sectors Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan) and offshore production and transporting is getting right. Department continued its activity by means of modern equipment and apparatus how as well.
