Analysis of geodynamic conditions and zoning of oil and gas fields distribution based on the geological-geophysical data (in the context of Yevlakh-Aghjabedi territory)

The paper briefly characterizes the geodynamic conditions of before Hercinian, Hercinian and Alpine periods of regions evolution playing major role in formation of Meso-Cenozoic fold structures in the territory of Yevlakh-Aghjabedi oil-gas bearing region. During the analysis of structural-tectonic features highlighted in 3D models and geological-geophysical deep sections through the regional profiles of various directions, geodynamic conditions are observed (predicted) in the studied region, which cover the following stratigraphic intervals:

- Permian-Triassic (basis)

- Jurassic-Cretaceous and Paleogen

- Maikop-Miocene and

- Pliocene-Quaternary.

The authors suppose that the favorable geodynamic conditions in these intervals contributed to the zoning of oil and gas deposits distribution.
