Protection from complications associated with deformation of well wall while drilling geothermal wells

Sc. - Azerbaijan State University of Oil and IndustryThe paper reviews the issues of protection from the complications associated with the deformation while drilling geothermal wells based on the analysis of theoretical and field data. With the purpose of preventing relaxation which geothermal wells undergo during the drilling process, the analysis of gathered data enabled to solve set tasks.
For prevention of deformation of well walls in the drilling process, the density, as well as the other structural-mechanical and rheological parameters of drilling mud, which alongside with the pressure impacting the bottomhole zone strongly affect the regulation of thermohydrodynamic interrelations in the “well-strata” system are of great importance.
