Study of geological-geophysical properties of Ajinohur depression and estimation of oil-gas perspectives

Based on the geological-geophysical surveys carried out in different periods in most areas of Ajinohur depression, the data on geological features, stratigraphy and lithology, tectonic, oil-gas bearing content, geophysical study, and physical properties of the rocks forming the section have been analyzed. Reanalysis of time and deep sections of profiles developed with CDP method, structural maps created by Mesozoic surface, by seismic horizons corresponding to Maikop, Miocene, and Aghjagil deposits was conducted and the structure of upheavals by mentioned deposits was specified. Paleoprofiles by profiles sections crossing the territory through different directions were developed, the history of geological development of studied area was investigated, and as a result, the opinions on formation of numerous structures were expressed and the recommendations on further exploration were given as well.
