The study of interrelation of mud volcanoes with oil fields based on geological-field data

The research surveys have been carried out based on the actual data obtained in the patches of Sangachal-deniz-Duvanny-deniz-Khara-Zira adasy field. The changing of dynamics of oil production as a result of the eruptions of mud volcanoes, reservoir properties of the samples, as well as the other characteristics of field development are reviewed.

It was revealed that during volcano eruption, despite the distance from it, the flow rate of the wells changed and in those located near volcano, the flow rate remained unchanged. The reason for the increase and decrease of production was the geological-mountain surveys conducted in the wells, and by the technical reasons, repair works carried out in the wells and some other aspects as well.
