As is known, the term “Geoecology” is vague, and its interpretations are quite diverse and depend on the research approach and argument. First of all, there are fields of geoecology and geoecology, depending on the geographical or geological approach. To be fair, the fields of geoecology and geoecology are the same because the prefix “geo” is the same in the Russian Federation, and this sign once again increases the ambiguity of the term “Geoecology”, and makes it incomprehensible. The presented article is devoted to a comparative analysis of this misunderstanding. The author assumes that ecologists will be interested in this analysis.
