From the experience of calculating intra-layer and inter-layer gas losses arisıng during the operation of Galmaz and Garadagh UGS

In order to regulate the uneven distribution of natural gas supply due to the season in our republic and to ensure the reliability of the main gas pipeline, it is important to efficiently operate the Galmaz and Garadag underground gas storage facilities. During the operation of underground gas storage reservoirs, inter-layer and intra-layer irreversible gas losses occur regardless of the geological conditions. In order to increase the efficiency of operation of the gas storage facility, the intra-layer and inter-layer non-returnable gas losses generated in the process of gas removal should be specified and calculated and removed from the balance of the reservoir.
