Preading of macrozoobents samples on Elet - Deniz and Bahar oil fields during 2007 – 2008

Macrozoobentos fauna was researched in Elet - Deniz and Bahar oil fields during 2007–2008. Researches were held in 31 stations in Elet-Deniz field, and in 22 stations in Bahar field in summer, spring, autumn. It was determined in the researched areas that, in spring of 2007 the number of bottom fauna was 300-3590 еx.///м2 (average indicator - 950 еx.///м2), biomass was 0, 92–400 еx.///м2 (average indicator 25 еx.///м2). In summer of 2007 the number of bottom fauna was 290–1450 еx.///м2 (average indicator 780 еx.///м2), biomass 1,3–185 еx.///м2 (average indicator 49 еx.///м2). In autumn of 2008 the number of bentos was 180–2800 еx.///м2 (average indicator 800 еx.///м2), biomass was 1,31–427,8 еx.///м2 (average indicator 46,3 еx.///м2). At the moment the number of the species of makrozoobentos has increased 3 times, and biomass 2,5 times compared with years of 1984 – 1986. The main reason of the changes happening in this area of the sea recently is the restoration of structures of local bentic unities in the result of physical – chemical and biological process. The growth of the sum of hidrobionts and rich species variety in the researched areas is the proof of ecological satisfaction situation.
