Hydrodynamic analysis of erosion-corrosion processes in multiphase pipelines
G.G. Ismayilov Dr. in Tech. Sc. - Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry UniversityIt is known that multiphase flows (oil and gas, oil-water, oil-sand, gas-sand, etc.) are widespread in field practice. Intensively erosion-corrosion processes occurring in these flows cause rapid wear and failure of technological oil and gas pipelines. Due to multiphase flow, pipelines are subjected to internal wear (erosion-corrosion process) mainly due to mechanical solid particles and formation water.
In the article with the purpose of prevention and weakening of such phenomena the methods of hydrodynamic regulation with the use of Bernoulli force formed due to interaction of phases are offered. Mathematical expressions for determination of the transfer rate providing transport of sand and water, considered as a dispersed phase, with the leading dispersed medium at flow of oil-mechanical particles, gas-mechanical particles and water-oil multiphase systems are offered. The possibility of eliminating the contact of dispersed phase (sand, water) with the pipe wall on the basis of hydrodynamic regulation is shown.
