Reducing the impact of construction waste on the environment

Sc. - Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction UniversityThe use of secondary products of recycling of construction waste and components of complex binders will allow to obtain the technology of production of resource-efficient construction materials. Industrial waste in combination with products of processing of construction waste allows to obtain competitive raw materials for production of efficient construction product.
The choice of builders in favor of recycled crushed stone is obvious: its cost, depending on the fraction, is 3–4 times lower than the price of natural material. Processing of industrial waste allows you to minimize transportation and other costs. Recycling of waste should be decided with the aim of obtaining maximum profit to compensate for capital investments in industrial processing. When sorting waste and converting it into recycled raw materials, the amount of waste that must be incinerated or transported to landfills is significantly reduced.
The purpose of studying the recycling of construction waste is to develop advanced recycling technologies and assess the technogenic impact on the environment. Technically correctly selected methods of waste preparation and processing are economically efficient and environmentally sound. Recycling of construction residues is an environmentally friendly and effective way to manage production materials, which significantly reduces time and financial costs.
It was revealed that, recycling of construction waste is an important environmental problem, the solution of which should be given state weight. It is necessary to build new processing enterprises, as well as re-profiling of existing ones, which have insufficiently loaded production areas. The issue of development of the corresponding regulatory framework for use of secondary products from construction waste for production of construction materials is also significant.
