Effect of different solvents and addition of nonionic reagents on dissolution of asphaltene, resin and paraffin deposits
A.N. Gurbanov Dr. in Tech. Sc. - Azerbaijan State University of oil and IndustryIt is known that paraffin deposition in wells and on pipeline walls is one of the main problems in oil and gas production. During the transportation of paraffinic oils through pipelines, when the temperature of paraffinic oils drops below the temperature at which paraffin begins to crystallize, paraffin continuously precipitates from the oil phase, which has a number of negative consequences on the operation of the pipeline, and in severe conditions even leads to its complete blockage.
Solid paraffins are the main component of some hydrocarbons extracted from specific formations, as well as diesel fuel and other petroleum products. During the process of dissolution of ASPD, the contact of the sediment components with the solvent molecules occurs at the molecular level. In the process of dissolution of ASPD, the contact of the sediment components with the solvent molecules occurs at the molecular level. In the process of dissolution of ASPD, the contact of the sediment components with the solvent molecules occurs at the molecular level. It has been established that the nature of heavy hydrocarbons of oil has a great influence on the process of formation of ASPD. Thus, as a result of the conducted studies it has been established that the ability of pyrolysis resin to dissolve ASPD is 35–80 % higher than that of other solvents (depending on temperature).
When using pyrolysis liquid together with non-ionic surfactants, it is possible to dissolve ASPO up to 80 %.
