Key anniversary dates in the oil and gas history of Azerbaijan in 2025
Miryusif Mirbabayev Dr. in Ch. Sc. - Azerbaijan Technical UniversityThe article presents a chronology of the oil and gas history of Azerbaijan from ancient times to (inclusive) 2025. The presented chronology shows the stages of the emergence and development of the oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan (mainly Baku and the entire Absheron Peninsula). The historical and scientific value of the chronology lies in the fact that a thoughtful reader will remember those individuals (scientists, geologists, chemists, oil industrialists, inventors, political and public figures) who stood at the origins of the emergence and further development of the glorious oil and gas history of the republic. Based on the use of archival materials, we present chronologically the main anniversary dates (facts) in the oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan in the outgoing year.
