The potential of carbon capture and enhanced oil recovery technologies for Azerbaijan: prospects for application prospects for the application of the MINICAM and MESSAGE approaches

Karimov - Oil and Gas InstituteThe presented article provides information about climate change, the essence of the Paris Agreement in the fight against climate change, and the volume of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere by household and industrial waste generated in the country. It is shown that the return of the population to the liberated Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions, along with the expansion of socio-economic development, will lead to the generation of household and agro-industrial waste. To reduce greenhouse gas emissions generated from waste, it is proposed to create landfills and build a waste incineration plant in these territories.
