Determining the dimensions of the shaping surfaces of press molds in the manufacturing of plastic parts of oıl and mining equipment

Currently, one of the important areas for increasing the reliability, durability and efficiency of oil production equipment is the use of new high-strength materials, in particular plastics, instead of non-ferrous and ferrous metals. The quality of plastic materials compared to other structural materials shows that this is a material with unlimited possibilities. 
All types of plastics have high plasticity during processing. Thermosetting materials are a group of materials that do not have the ability to restore their plasticity after the processing process, parts from which are manufactured by pressing and casting-pressing methods. The manufacture of parts from this group of materials, providing all the quality indicators established for them (compression deformation – Sb, strength – sp, purity – Ra, hardness – HB and density – r), is carried out in specially designed metal molds by selecting the optimal pressing modes for each material.
