Study of the bactericidal properties and biological stability of new compositions
K.A. Mammadov PhD in Tech. Sc. - “Oil-Gas Scientific Research Project” Institute, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry UniversityThis article examines the bactericidal properties and biological stability of newly developed compositions. Multicomponent bactericidal inhibitor compositions were prepared for use against corrosion processes during well operation. These compositions included technical phosphatide, acidol, isopropyl alcohol, fatty acids, soapstock, polyethylenepolyamine, dimethylethanolamine, naphthenic acids, nitrosalp, and light and heavy gas oil fractions. The resulting compositions are known as “KAB”, “KAB-2014”, and “KQCI-2014” inhibitors.
The complex chemical composition of these inhibitor compositions ensures their versatility and allows them to be used in a variety of aggressive conditions. Laboratory studies have shown that the corrosion protection efficiency of these compounds at a rate of 500 mg/L is 94–96 %, and the destruction efficiency of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) is 98–99 %. The reduction rate of SRB adhered to the surface by the developed biofilms was 83–91 %. Based on laboratory testing results, the developed inhibitors were assigned a score of 1 for mold resistance, demonstrating their high biological stability. Furthermore, the conducted research and experimental results were mathematically described based on biokinetic relationships. Approximation methods using exponentials and sums of exponentials were employed. As a result, very minor differences were found between the empirical formula obtained from the experiment and the mathematical calculations. This demonstrates the high accuracy of the experiment.
