This article presents the results of industrial experiment on diesel-alkaline waste (DAW) injection at one of the Balakhany-Sabunchi-Ramany oil field development sites for layer Ы КЪ-4. Applying the technology based on DAW injection led to increase of the oil extraction factor due to better oil wash out from reservoir and changing the directions of filtration flows of the injected water caused by reduction of phase to phase tension between oil and DAW as well as forming of sediment in the reservoir. Beginning from 15.07.2003 until 31.10.2003, 3960 m3 of DAW (5% water solution) was injected through water injection well. To get the injected volume of DAW moving through the reservoir the water injection started on well № 3382 after year 2003. The injection rate was 50 m3 per day which allowed injecting 17000 m3 of produced water as yearly average for period 2004-2008. Injection of 5%water solution of DAW for 5 tested production wells No: 3382 for layer Ы КЪ-4 during period 2003-2008 resulted in average increase of daily oil production rates in the range of 5.50 12.97 times more than it had been before application of DAW (during period 1997-2003). As a result, 2226 m3 of oil out of the total oil volume 7651 m3 were produced owing to the DAW injection technology by 31.12.2008 and the total volume of produced water was less than before the DAW injection.
