Synthesis and investigation of 4 - methyltetracyclo - carboxylic acid alkyl in the presence of the nano - grade titanium dioxide TIO2 (RS - 500) as catalyst
P. M. KerimovIn the article facts of the synthesis of aliphatic ethers of 4 - methyltetratcyclo [6, 2, 11.8,13.6, 02.7] dodocene - 9,10 - 4 carboxylic acid are stated. The synthesis of the synthesis of aliphatic ethers of 4 - methyltetratcyclo [6, 2, 1 1,8,13,6, 02,7] dodocene - 9,10 - 4 carboxylic acid has been carried out in the following optimum conditions: a ratio of acid and alcohol 1:1.3, presence of 0.9 wt. % of nano - grade titanium dioxide (RS 500) used as the catalyst, the temperature of 80 - 90C and reaction time 10 -12 hours. In the specified conditions the yield of target ethers is 92.2 %. The ethers were identified by spectral methods, their physical and chemical features were defined. Carrying out of the given reaction was based on principles of application of the new heterogeneous nano catalyst (RS 500), possessing an expanded surface contact (BET surface = 329.1 mІ/g). The synthesis of initial 4 - methyltetratcyclo [6, 2, 11.8,13.6, 02.7] dodocene - 9.10 - 4 carboxylic acid has been obtained in an autoclave condition as a result of interaction of methacrylic acids (1 mol) and dicyclopentadiene (1.5 mol) at the temperature of 170 - 180C, pressure 0.8 1.0 MPa., presence of hydroquinone (5.0) and toluene solvent (200 ml). During the application of the specified heterogeneous nano catalyst some stages as: neutralization, washing out and drying of a raw ether have been reduced and the technology of obtaining of end- products has been simplified.
