In this article the microinhomogeneity, which is the feature of geological formations is recriwed. The characteristics of rocks reservoir properties from the point of view of microinhomogeneity and influence of the lithological factor on their capacity and filtration properties have been studied. The analysis physical - reservoir properties of different types of rocks was carried out in areas of Kurovdagh, Mishovdagh, Garabaghly and Kursangy of oil and gas bearing region of the Lower Kura. The estimation and analysis of the parameters, characterizing microinhomogeneity of reservoir rocks were executed in these deposits. It has been determined that by the garnulometric coefficients value, characterizing microinhomogeneity, sandy rocks have the worst sorting quality and more heterogeneous composition than the aleurite rocks, but hereby they have the best filtration and capacitive properties. The appreciable reduction of median diameter and asymmetry coefficient increase are marked from Kurovdag area to Kursangy area - the north to south. This fact is consistent with the established direction of fragmental material drift from the Greater and Lesser Caucasus uplifts towards the Caspian depression. The estimation of conditioned values of porosity was given separately for sand and aleurite rocks.
