Optical activity of Azerbaijan oils
B. A. Guseynova50 C and residue fractions have been obtained from Azerbaijans sea and continental oils, also have been divided into naphtene - paraffin, aromatic hydrocarbons and asphalt - alkali compounds by means of different polar and non - polar and by the method of chromatographic adsorption. The optical activity features of prepared hydrocarbon mixtures before and after dearomatization have been studied in Russian Academy of Sciences Institute of Element Organic Compounds named afterA.N. Nesmeyanov in Moscow. The optical activity has been measured by means of device Perkin Elmir - 140 and Polamat A, at miscellaneous length waves. Only in four of the investigated samples: in Azeri residues from sea oils, in naphtene - paraffin hydrocarbon compositions extracting from the fractions of Balakhani and Japharli oils from continental oils optical activity and its degree have been defined. From calculation of ray break parameters it is clear that, optical activity in the investigated compositions mainly depends on double - ring naphtene hydrocarbons and three ring naphthene in the composition separated from residue fraction of oil in Azeri sea deposit. The obtained results have a great importance in oil appearing, maturing and its age defining, generally, in the solution of genesis problems.
