In this article the new inhibitor made on the basis of glycols from the raw materials made by the local industry is offered in order to reduce gas hydrates in the conditions of Azerbaijan during extraction, preparation for transport and transportation of natural and passing gases. Developed anti-hydrates composition consists of water solutions di-propylene glycol (DPG), propylene glycol (PG) and superficially active substances (SAS) in the following proportion (in weight %): DPG 70.085.0; PG 4.99.5; SAS 0.10.5; H2О the rest. This inhibitor possesses following properties: density (at 20 оС) 1.03-1.04 g/sm3; viscosity (at 20 оС) 40.0 - 42.0 mm2/с; boiling temperature 140,0-150,0 оС; hardening temperature (for 50% of a solvent) (+20.3) (-22.1) оС; foaming does not occur; dissolution in a condensate (for 80 % solutions) 0.052 %; the bottom limit of decrease in temperature hydrate formation (for 50% solutions) 1112 оС; duration of decomposition emulsion with a condensate at 20 оС 0.50.6 minutes. New inhibitor is cheaper than methanol. The inhibitor composition has passed technical tests and meets the requirements set to inhibitors.
