Motor oil for locomotive,vessel and industrial diesels
Kh.G.AfandievaThis article deals with the development of motor oil M-14B2, made from the mixture of Azerbaijani oil and is used in marine, locomotive and industrial diesels. As the base of oil making lubricating composition of motor oil M-14B2 was used the compound of M-8 and M-15 distillate oils. Some viscous additives of M-10 base oil Viscoplex 1-810, Viscoplex- 8-450 and Viscoplex 4-550 with different structure and composition was analyzed for formalization of the base oil M-14 having viscous temperature properties. As a result of analysis destruction properties against mechanical and thermal stability of these viscous additives was determined the high solidity of Viscoplex- 4-550 in comparison with Viscoplex -2-670 which is widely used in Azerbaijan recently. By scrutinizing of additives of various functional properties in the composition of M-14 Baku oil Viscoplex -4-550, detergent-dispersing OLOA-373c, detergent-dispersing C-150, anti-oxidative, anti-corrosive and anti-wear Mx-3103, depressant Viscoplex -5-309, anti-foam PMS-200A has been developed new lubricating oil composition M-14B2 (GOST 12334-84). Laboratory qualification experiments of oil M-14B2 with IKM, NAMI-1M and IM-1 settings were carried out. The result of qualification experiments of oil M-14B2 approved that this experimental oil sample meets the requirements of B2 group motor oil.
