Protection of low-carbon steel from acidic corrosion by acetylene containing inhibitors
N.M.AghayevThe inhibitor properties of acetylene containing compounds in conditions of steel corrosion in 5n hydrochloric acid have been studied. The investigated reagents show high protective properties corrosion inhibition in acidic medium considerably grows with temperature rising and reaches maximum at 60 оC. Data of weight corrosion tests have been confirmed by volume metric tests on quantity of isolated volume of hydrogen in acid without and with addition of inhibitors at concentration 0.25 g/l. The study of physical-mechanical characteristics of steel (steel wire) showed that the inhibitors also keep steel plasticity, however in less degree.
