Transesterification of sunflower-seed oil by methyl alcohol in the presence of nano CaO catalyst
M.M.MovsumzadehIn article is reviewed the method of preparation of nano CaO catalyst and the use of this catalyst in reaction of trans-eterication of sunflower-seed oil by methyl alcohol. By interaction of Ca(NO3)2 4H2O with NaOH were developed nano CaO seeds of size 15-20 nm. The structure of CaO seeds was investigated with microscope (SZMU-L5) in half contact regime. The dependence of yield of sunflower-seeds esters from the size of CaO seeds the ratio of methyl alcohol to sunflower-seeds oil and temperature of reaction were investigated. It was shown that with the size of CaO seeds of 17nm the ratio of methyl alcohol to sunflower-seed oil 6:1 and at temperature 700 C the yield of ester (biodiesel fuel is 85%).
