The investigation of the raw material structure affect on the quality of AKI-114
N.D.GuseynovaIn article are given the results of the investigations on development of the effective additives for the improvement of motor oil exploitation properties. One of the effective additives developed for the last years in the Institute of the Chemistry of Additives of Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences is AKI-114 additive. Raw material of AKI-114 is alkylphenol prepared by alkylation of phenol by polymer-distillate. With the purpose of the improvement of the quality indexes and exploitation properties of additive, alkylphenol has been synthesized by trimmers of propylene; optimal conditions of reaction have been found. The obtained on the basis of alkylphenol from trimmer of propylene additive AKI-114 by its physico-chemical indexes and exploitation properties meet all requirements of TY on AKI-114 additive and by some indexes exceed the standard indexes (corrosion, stability and etc.).
