Receiving M-12 base motor oil from Azerbaijan petroleum

In the paper, research for development of technology to receive M-12 base motor oil on the base of distillate fraction and commodity oils of petroleum produced at Azerneftyag OPP is provided. At the plant less wax-bearing offshore oil mixtures and oil fractions and commodity oil received from Balakhani field light petroleum were used for the research. Since residue oil is not produced at plant, distillate (AK-15) fraction with high base was used. Usage of distillate of these oils has been grounded on difference of their freezing temperature. M-12BБ motor oil made on the base of M-12 oil is used in motor and tractor diesel engines, as well as high speed marine diesel engines, oil-electrical engines. There was studied two ways to receive M-12 base motor oil. In I version, mixture of AK-15 and T-22 oil distillates in comparison of 85:15, in II version, mixture of AK-15 and T-22 commodity oil distillates in comparison of 90:10 as raw material, was used. Compositions to receive M-12 base motor oil are developed according to Azerneftgas OPP technology. In both versions provided for receivable M-12 base motor oil. M-12 base motor oil was applied at Azerneftgas OPP according to production technology.
