Current situation and prospects of geological exploration and production of oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan Republic

In the article are reviewed the achievements in geological exploration and production sphere of Azerbaijan Republic oil-gas industry. It deals with oil and gas production dynamics conducted together with foreign companies and also under SOCARs own stream through the Republic. In the results of carried out geological-technological measures and exploitation drilling during recent years by fields, especially shallow depth Guneshly are achieved goals in the direction of production stabilization and its increasing. In the article are shown the investigations carried out in SOCAR and their results on the basis of one of the leading technologies all over the world, nanosystems appliance in oil industry. Also is given information about the status of geological-exploration works conducted in Caspian Sea water area and their results.
