South-West Absheron is high-perspective region of Azerbaijan onshore. Here in Lokbatan, Puta-Gushkana, Korgoz-Giziltepe, Shongar areas oil and gas fields were discovered during 1926-1937 and they are being developed up to now. Above mentioned structures bordering Guzdeck mould were studied. The region has a complicated tectonic structure, as well as depth and surface seismic conditions that didnt allow developing necessary seismic profiles network. Current seismic exploration differs with its great informative value of obtained materials that are related to improvement of applied technical-methodic conditions. Structural maps of Productive Series (PS), VII horizon of PS, underlying PS deposits-pont and diatom tops were worked out. Depth structure of Guzdeck mould, as well as near crest parts and mould far limbs, bordering it from south and south-west of Lokbatan, Puta-Gushkhana, Korgoz-Giziltepe, Shongar structures were rather specified. Structural flange was revealed in far, north limb of Lokbatan Pliocene anticline on Miocene deposits. Oil-and-gas content of Miocene (diatom) deposits was proved in the areas of Garaeibat, Guzdeck hemianticline and etc. in the north limb of Garadagh structure, South-West Absheron. Commercial oil inflow was achieved in some wells of Korgoz-Giziltepe area. But understudy of Miocene deposits structure doesnt allow appraising of their perspective. Seismic exploration survey results, especially Miocene structure elements reveal in far limb of Lokbatan anticline show necessity to conduct exploration works in Miocene deposits here. Non-anticline traps search is also of great interest in this region. In the ledges of Guzdeck mould in lower parts of PS, between PS and underlying deposits, as well as in Miocene (diatom) deposits the pinching-out horizons that make conditions favorable for lithologic-stratigraphic traps, are traced. Wide seismic profiles spacing doesnt make it possible to trace pinching-out of these horizons it is recommended to execute 3D seismic exploration work with non-regular observation system of H80-100km2 volume in Lokbatan, including revealed Miocene flange.
