Results of experimental and theoretical studies of a new method of reservoir stimulation by gas generating systems based on industrial waste of mineral resources processing presented in this paper. Natural minerals are the source for the carbon dioxide generation, formed by a chemical reaction with the sour water. Dissolution of CO2 in the reservoir oil increases its density, which allows adjusting displacement front instability and increasing the reservoir coverage. It is environmentally efficient way, since the use of waste of natural minerals processing leads to the reduction of air pollution by greenhouse gases.
