Probability of existing of oil and gas fields in the deep stratums of Southern Caspian Depression

Southern Caspian Depression is situated in the seismic active place from geodynamic - tension standpoint. By determining structural - tectonic system of the depression cover of the place, waste of mud volcanoes, geological, geophysical, seismic data have been analyzed, lithological - pertographic and stratigraphic indications have been investigated. Complication of structural - tectonic system by schistose and tectonic breaks in 615 km interval of the stratum of the depression cover in Southern Caspian basin, hotbed of earthquake, lithological composition of rock, collector features allow to say the existence of oil and gas fields. In this region temperature changes between 85135OC for -6000 m section and to 10 km interval temperature doesnt omit 185200OC. From scientific - theoretical standpoint it has been substantiated that hydrocarbon fields can arise in big depths under the condition of 350400OC and 100 MPa. On the area the distribution of the earthquake taken place in Southern Caspian Depression during 19022008, changes among hypocenters whose depths are 160 km according to tectonic structure. Earthquakes are mostly observed (6070 %) in the interval of 525 km, formation of prolonged crack and different geobar condition fastens migration of hydrocarbons. Geodynamic tension, seismoactive condition and activities of mud volcanoes have a great role in migration of hydrocarbons and formation of deposits.
