About the preparation of gas to transportation in offshore conditions
R. A. PanahovThe article gives a short analysis of existing schemes of the preparation of gas to transportation in offshore conditions. There were shown the obstacles happening in the gas collection and preparation to transportation in the sea mines. The authors have studied the opportunity of carrying the separation process in the sea, loops, in the comparatively low temperatures of sea waters. For this purpose, the authors suggest the technological scheme of gas development in the vertical part of the pipe and in the loops. The suggested technological scheme is based upon intratubal separation process and in this case the work principle of gas development technology is explained. The structural forms of two - phase flow in the pipes were shown, and the forming boundary of separated and stratified structural forms of gas - liquid flows has been set. The rates of flow speed have been shown in the form of a table in order to provide the separation regime in the pipes. The advantages of the technology of preparation to the transportation of the suggested gas in the sea mines have been described in this article. The opportunity of gas separation process in the extended vertical bend of sea loop has been introduced as an example.
